Various products are done with this method. Easy to make dubble curved shapes and with smooth surfaces. Because of the glasfiber structure it can be very thin and strong at the same time.

“Parupu” the Pulp Chair

‘parupu’ is a chair for children, made of the material ‘durapulp’, a biodegradable plastic based on maize starch. It is durable and waterproof, as well as fully compostable. Started out as a thesis project at KTH. The project received a grant from the swedish governmental agency for innovation systems.
